With a membership of about 5000, Local 987 is located in the Province of Alberta. Local 987's membership consists of members employed in the dairy, food processing, grocery warehousing, public transportation (taxi service drivers), and soft drink sectors. These members along with those employed in bulk tank haul, gas processing, freight courier, bakery and laundry, pharmaceutical warehousing, clerical and even public sector, make Local 987 one of the most diversified Local Unions within Teamsters Canada and The International Union. Teamsters Local 987's head office is located in Calgary Alberta, with a sub office located in Edmonton.

Whether we sit behind a desk, stand in front of a production line, run a forklift or turn the wheel of a truck we are power brokers in our own right.
